Give us a call and we will direct you to the appropriate resources to find out.

But rest assured, we respect your health care dollar. At Toronto Physiotherapy all physiotherapy appointments are one-on-one with your physiotherapist. Our goal is to get you better as soon as possible – a satisfied patient will refer their friends and family! Learn more about our difference here.

Will OHIP or WSIB cover my physiotherapy?
Toronto Physiotherapy is NOT an OHIP registered clinic, and we also do NOT accept WSIB claims.
Before 2004, OHIP offered some physiotherapy coverage to all Ontarians. Since that time, OHIP coverage has been restricted to persons 65 and over, 19 and younger, those receiving benefits under the Ontario Disability Support Program or Family Works, residents of long-term care homes, or persons who require physiotherapy to treat a condition for which they have stayed in hospital overnight. Learn more about OHIP covered physiotherapy, including how it works, who is eligible, and the pros and cons of this model of physiotherapy care.
If you do qualify, you must seek out one of the few OHIP registered clinics in Ontario. Since current OHIP reimbursement levels for physiotherapy service is very low, the type of rehabilitation services offered by these clinics is accordingly restricted. Toronto Physiotherapy is NOT an OHIP registered clinic.
We also no longer accept WSIB insurance claims. Regrettably, changes to the WSIB claims process and reimbursement rates have made accepting WSIB insurance claims to be far too burdensome and unprofitable for many clinics, including our own. There still exists physiotherapy clinics that will accept WSIB claims, although typically these clinics are forced to use a diminished clinical care model.
